The Motorola Edge 50 Neo has debuted in European markets as the newest addition to the Edge 50 smartphone series. This device, developed by the Lenovo-owned company, is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset and is equipped with a 50-megapixel Sony Lytia camera. The Edge 50 Neo boasts a 6.4-inch LTPO OLED display, which is said to achieve a peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits. Additionally, the smartphone is rated IP68 for dust and water resistance and meets MIL-STD 810H standards. Alongside the Edge 50 Neo, Motorola has also introduced the Edge 50, which was previously launched in India, to the European market.

The Motorola Edge 50 Neo is priced at EUR 499 (around Rs. 46,000) in Europe. It is anticipated to launch in specific areas of Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, and Oceania in the upcoming months. The smartphone will be offered in several color options, such as Pantone Grisaille, Pantone Latte, Pantone Nautical Blue, and Pantone Poinciana.

Additionally, the Motorola Edge 50 has also been introduced in European markets, priced at EUR 599 (approximately Rs. 55,000). This model is set to launch in Latin America, Asia, and Oceania in the upcoming weeks. In India, the Edge 50 is currently available for purchase at a price of Rs. 27,999 on Motorola’s official website and other online retail stores like Flipkart and Amazon for the sole configuration featuring 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

The Motorola Edge 50 Neo features a 6.4-inch full-HD+ (1,220×2,670 pixels) LTPO pOLED display with HDR10+ content support. This display has a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, a touch sampling rate of 300Hz, and a peak brightness of up to 3,000nits. It is powered by Android 14 with its custom Hello UI and has an SGS Blue Light Reduction certification.

The Motorola Edge 50 Neo’s screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, but the device’s frame is made of plastic. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, paired with a maximum of 512GB of internal storage and up to 12GB of RAM.

The Motorola Edge 50 Neo has three cameras on its back: a 10-megapixel telephoto sensor with an optical zoom of up to 3x, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera with phase detection autofocus, and a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-700C primary sensor. The phone has a 32-megapixel selfie camera on the front.

The Motorola Edge 50 Neo has 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, GPS/A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port as connectivity options. It has MIL-810H-certified military-grade and an IP68-rated build. The phone supports a face unlock feature that uses the front camera, and an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication. It has built-in dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.

The Motorola Edge 50 Neo boasts a 4,310 mAh battery that can be charged wirelessly with a 15W charger. It also has a 68W charger bundled with the box for wired charging. The phone is 171 grams in weight and has dimensions of 154.1 x 71.2 x 8.1 mm.

With a 50-megapixel Sony-LYTIA 700C primary sensor at the center of its triple rear camera unit, it is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 AE (Accelerated Edition) chipset. It features a 5,000mAh battery with support for both 15W wireless charging and 68W wired charging, along with a 32-megapixel front camera.
